Project: Alteration and Addition
Location: Tighes Hill, 2297
Year Completed: 2023
This rear addition of approximately 100m² to an existing home consisted of a strong focus on cost efficiency and architectural harmony. By strategically minimizing the connection to the existing structure, we reduced construction complexity and costs.
The new layout includes a bathroom with lower ceilings, cleverly positioned to sit beneath the original roofline, alongside a functional laundry.
In contrast, the open-plan living, kitchen, and dining areas feature expansive raked ceilings, creating a bright, airy space that enhances the sense of volume and modern living. On this project we were lucky enough to collaborate with TW Building.
3D Render from Design Process
Our in house design team utilise 3D renders that provide clients with a clear visualisation of the finished project from the earliest design stages. This powerful tool not only helps clients envision the end result, but also guides them through a step-by-step visual journey of the entire build process — ensuring clarity, confidence, and informed decision-making every step of the way.
